Shelby Larkin

Glass Slipper Cakes is a Virginia based company, owned by Denise Reeves. She designs custom creations out of buttercream and fondant, that are unique to each customer. When working with Denise to create her equally unique logo, she wanted to focus on elements similar to Disney's Cinderella dress, so I focused on incorporating pearls, bows and the classic shade of blue. All of the treatments to each layer of cake represent frosting techniques that Denise does on her cakes. To top off the cake, we added a sparkling glass slipper and a vintage cake stand to pull the cake design and logo together.
